That small device generates a digital signature that makes it possible
for you to connect, sign your transactions, etc. It calculates a new signature
every time you use it, which guarantees an optimal security.
The DIGIPASS can be used both as :
a traditional calculator,
an authenticator calculator device. This American word simply refers to a number of 6 digits - generated
by DIGIPASS - guaranteeing the origin of a message, or event he integrity
of its contents.
The Digipass is protected by a password that is personal.
e-TOKEN
Kind of small key to insert into the USB port of your PC and on which
your certificate and your two keys (private/public keys) have been previously
entered in accordance with the PKI certificate method (Public Key Infrastructure).
Your e-Token is protected by a personal
PIN code.
When you log on to B-Web, you are asked to enter your personal password
that will make it possible to unlock the e-Token so that B-Web may have
access to your certificate/asymmetrical keys. The secured channel between
your PC and the computer of the Bank may then be set up.
IBAN
The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) stems
from works engaged within the European Committee of Banking Standardization
(CENB) and the International Standard Organization (ISO), to facilitate
the treatment of the international but especially cross-border operations
from the beggining to the end.
It allows the principal banker to seize quickly a number without
a break between the operation.
The IBAN was adopted in Europe according to the European
circular AFB n°97/075 and by the Norm ISO n°13616.
The structure is as following : PPCCNNNN…NN
PP
is equivalent to the country code ISO 3166
CC
is a verified digit number (see method of calculation
farther)
NNNN…NN
is equivalent to the BBAN used in the bank
EXAMPLE
In BURUNDI, the number IBAN of the account 201-0005272-81 will
be "BI24 2010 0052 7281".
This calculation has to be made in 3 stages : Stage 1 :
Indicate the number BBAN followed by the country code and of "00".
For the number "201-0005272-81"
201000527281 BI 00.
Stage 2 :
Convert letters into digit numbers, according to the table of conversion
below. 201000527281
1118 00
A = 10
G = 16
M = 22
S = 28
Y = 34
B = 11
H = 17
N = 23
T = 29
Z = 35
C = 12
I = 18
O = 24
U = 30
D = 13
J = 19
P = 25
V = 31
E = 14
K = 20
Q = 26
W = 32
F = 15
L = 21
R = 27
X = 33
Stage
3 : Apply Modulo 97 and deduct the rest of 98, if the result
contains a single digit only , put one "0" in front. Insert the
result obtained in the position 3 of IBAN (just after the country
code ). 98
- 74 = 24 the IBAN of our account will be "BI24 2010 0052 7281"
